Universal's Own Erik "The House" Fankhouser Earns Pro Card
by Anthony DeAngelis, Natural Pro, National Level NPC Competitor
This past weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, Universal’s very own Erik Fankhouser won the heavyweight class and the overall title at the North American Bodybuilding Championships. In doing so, Erik earned his IFBB pro card. The heavyweight competition is usually one of the toughest classes in bodybuilding shows, and by most accounts, this year's show was among the most competitive ever. Erik, standing in at 5’9” and 214 lb. beat out other top bodybuilders by bringing a complete package to the table, one which highlighted incredible leg development and superb conditioning.

At 27, Erik is part of bodybuilding’s new youth movement. For over 2 years, he’s been with Universal. Everyone at Universal Nutrition would like to heartily congratulate Erik on this milestone achievement. The recongition is well deserved. We’ve seen firsthand the kind of hard work and dedication you have put into your career and into bodybuilding. We are extremely proud to have such an accomplished, well-spoken athlete as part of our family. You epitomize all that is great about this sport. Congratulations.
